Beliefs

Bible placed on a wooden desk with a cup of tea.

We are committed to the historic Christian faith as handed down to us by the apostles and preserved for us in Scripture. We seek to be entirely Biblical without arrogance. We live by the motto: "In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love"

Essential Beliefs

In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love.

We believe in God who is three persons; each person is fully God, there is one God.

We believe in the reality of Sin, which, without Jesus, condemns us before God.

We believe in the Person of Jesus who is fully God and fully human, existing in one person.

We believe in the Work of Jesus who died as our innocent substitute.

We believe in Salvation which is given by grace and received through faith in Jesus.

We believe that Jesus will return bodily to Earth a second time to set up an eternal, perfect and physical kingdom.

We believe in the Bible which points us to Jesus, is true in all that it intends to say, and is the guide for our faith and conduct.

Our Essential Beliefs are a condensed version of our doctrinal statement which can be found in our constitution.
